Auditions - Weds 13th Jan

Today Mike, Dave, Kirk, Sam, Tara and I attended the auditions in order to oversee them and to help make decisions about the characters. We all set up the room, and after giving out scripts and character profiles, aswell as model release forms out to the auditionees. I was meant to record the whole thing, but i had to leave to go to an exam, so i couldn't stay til the end. This is a list of people that auditioned and the roles they were going for.


Jake Wood - Josef James
Taylor - Grant Cole
Seth - James Amey, Tim Sykes, Elliot Hickey
Zeke - Tom Jakes
Megan - Angelica Thomson, Jennifer Green, Catherine Montgomery

We also have 3 minor roles, which some actors above may be asked if they want to act in if they do not receive the part they want to. These are TEACHER1, AGENT1 and FRIEND1 in the script. All roles will be decided tonight by our casting director Mike Shaw and news will be emailed to the successful auditionees. All in all things are progressing really well. I thought overall the people were quite good, but i felt that some stuck out more than others.

Josef James - Very confident, had learnt lines very quickly. Is IN a band, so could pull off the 'i'm in a band' thing' quite happy to be filmed.
Tim Sykes - Said lines with confidence, but he doesn't fir the image i had of Seth.
Elliot Hickey - Confident, good acting skills and could relate to the character well, would make a good Seth.

Some others were very good, too but i can't remember who they were.
